Face Lifts Do's and Don'ts

Last night we saw a newish movie with a come back actress from the old days. The amount of work she had done on her face since I saw her last was shocking. She looked grotesque and deformed. No remnants of character or emotions crossed her once expressive face. At one time she made us howl with laughter by the contortions her face would go through.

There was only a stiff, gaudily painted mask where a face should have been. It didn't make her look younger, it made her look like a strange alien. Plastic.

Our eyes are the window to our soul. There is nothing more fitting or beautiful to me than loving eyes looking out from a real face.

Wisdom wrinkles, laughter crinkles, love twinkles ~ the face lift that brings a smile to everyone.

I need it but don't want one, I wouldn't look like me.

It took me a long time to get these wrinkles and sags, and I'll be darned if I'm going to try and remove them!

I had to read the last line a couple times cause I thought you mentioned that you love twinkies and I could not figure out how that fit in with this story.

Love twinkles.
Like a little star.
Twinkles.
Twinkles.
Rhymes with wrinkles.

Blessings.

This reminds me of something my husband said when we first started dating: "Some girls wear so much makeup, you can't tell if they're pretty."
