Bees Knees and Me

Pollen swollen legs
heavy with instinct
spread
pollinate
gather
aching need

waiting blossom
yearns
with petals open
 for tango touch
a gentle dance
upon her center

 sun days ahead
turn flower to fruit
  sweet juice drips
leaving
sticky kiss on
ripe skin

Haha. L.L. read Neruda to me on a bench at Mt Hermon. Sent me hurtling down the sensuous poetry trail. Neruda could have taken advantage. :) [swoon]

.....and the pear blossoms outside my window, humming with busy bees
prompted me also. :) The bees and the blossoms are VERY happy.

Heavy with instinct. That is a great line.

Neruda, just as I thought &was it mmerubies who said 'nuff said' about that... but ahem, you are pretty darn fine with the whole yearning genre (and hon, I think I will leave that to your expertise) - have fun :)
