Tribute to a Teacher

His name unknown
demeanor humble
a teacher
simply offering
one track of time
 traveling deeper

deeper into silence
for deeper understanding
towards deeper reading
spurring deeper response
  to write alive words
alongside
songs sung sweet

the track in this trail
blazed hot
kindled a fire
branding need into life
propagating
 days of invitation to
 swim together in bathos
without drowning in tears

  being still
 waiting quiet
 opening soft
 listening close
 before burning
 without being consumed
from worship
divino

"spurring deeper response"

this summarises it. this is what He does without fail. time and again.

A very nice tribute. :)

And, BTW, Someone has been playing not-so-secret sister again! I received your note. Just the thing I needed after this difficult week.

You are the bomb, Kathleen. Wish we could weed some gardens together.

There it is again ... "burning without being consumed from worship"

I think that's what He desires for us.
